Artist Bio- Bea Wolert



Bea holds an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute (2003) and received a BA in Design from Adelphi University. She has been part of group shows in New York, most recently Her Mark 2010 (2009) at Woman Made Gallery; Patterns of Growth (2009) at NURTUREart; Eggcartonopolis (2008) at HQ; The Generations Show (2008) at A.I.R. Gallery; From the Art of New York (2006) at the World Financial Center; the prayingproject (2005) and Renegades (2006) at EXIT Art; and Traveling Tales (2005) at Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History, Masterton, New Zealand. She is the Programs Director at CUE Art Foundation. Bea lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with her husband and son and continues to find inspiration in the streets, culture and memories of growing up there as a child.
